Silk Caye

USD 300.00

The trip to Silk Caye was memorable for many reasons. My sister and brother were visiting me, my brother for the first time since I moved here with my family in 1977. We snorkeled, caught fish, saw murids of ocean life and disembarked on this tiny speck of reef 30 some miles from the mainland. The last hurricane that hit Belize has battered it down to half its size but the beauty remains sans the palms and small building. Life below the surface remains and likely is better off with the absence of intruders from above.
